Privacy Policy

We’re a family farm, not a data company. Here’s what we collect, why, and what we’ll never do with it - in plain words, the same way we’d tell you across the fence. Last updated October 2026.

What we collect, and why

When you send a booking request, order, volunteer signup, or join our email list, we keep what you typed: your name, email, phone if you gave one, and your message. That’s it. It goes into our own database, and a copy goes to our team’s private Telegram chat so one of us can answer quickly - used only to respond to you and run the farm. We don’t buy data about you, and we never sell or rent yours to anyone.

Payments

Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a payment processor used by millions of businesses. Your card number goes to Stripe, never to us - we couldn’t see it if we wanted to. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs that data. When you pay, Stripe tells us your name, email, and the amount, so we know who to thank.

Email promise

If you join a list, you’ll get a few emails a year, and only about the things you ticked - workshop dates, the farm store, farm news. Every one has an unsubscribe link, or just reply and we’ll take you off the list, no questions, no hoops. If you sign up for a workshop, we also email you a confirmation with the details.

Photos

We photograph the farm constantly and our guests almost never. A photo in which you’re recognizable is published only with your permission - for wedding photos, that means the couple’s and the photographer’s. If you ever spot yourself on this site and want the photo gone, one email does it.

Cameras on the property

The farm has exterior security cameras - outdoors only, never inside any stay. We say this on every listing too, because no one likes surprises.

Cookies and tracking

This site runs no advertising trackers, no social-media pixels, and no analytics scripts. Our web host (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs to keep the site working and fend off abuse. Farm videos load from YouTube or Vimeo only when you press play, and those companies may set their own cookies then. If we ever add privacy-respecting visit counting, it won’t identify you personally, and this page will say so first.

Other companies you may touch through us

Book through Airbnb and Airbnb’s privacy policy applies to that booking. Pay by card and Stripe’s applies to the payment. Our website runs on Cloudflare and its content lives in Sanity. Email to us arrives in Google’s Gmail, and new requests reach us through Telegram. Workshop confirmations and announcements are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. Each of those companies has its own published privacy policy.
